We have a limited supply of water efficient showerheads that you can exchange for your old, water-hungry showerhead. Only available to residents of Waitomo District.
You need to answer 'yes' to the following questions before you apply:
1. Is my property on mains pressure?
- If you have a hot water cylinder, look for the label where it will say “Mains or low pressure”
- If your water is heated by gas, you will be on mains water pressure.
- If you have a copper water pipe sticking up through your roof, you are probably on low pressure. The shower head will not be suitable for you as your water pressure will already be low.
2. Do I have a screw-in showerhead?
3. Is my shower flow rate between 12-20 litres?
